The air feed of the pneumatically switched-on Planox® clutch, type PPR, is radial. The switching component, comprised of a cylinder and piston, runs on angular ball bearings and the required pressing force is transferred by these. The torque resulting from the friction of the angular ball bearings is absorbed to the foundation or the case by a torque plate. The wear that occurs is automatically compensated over the piston stroke.Torque range from 180 Nm to 22,000 Nm
