Lever combination method As shown in the illustration on the right, using a lever in
combination with a load cell is called the lever combination method.
As the weight of a hopper can be offset with balance weights, the load cell becomes low capacity and can be used
almost to the point of its standard capacity if the appropriate linkage ratio is selected.
