Fisher Cavitrol III trim is designed for clean, cavitating services with pressure drops of up to 207 bar (3000 psi).The cage in this trim contains a multitude of specially-shaped, radially-aligned holes that reduce fluid turbulence and stage the overall pressure drop, both of which control or eliminate the damaging effects of cavitation.Designed to prevent cavitation.Has a pressure drop limit of 207 bar (3000 psi).Many special characterizations are available to match rangeability requirements of specific systems.Hardened trim materials provide excellent wear resistance, resulting in long trim life.Cage-type trim allows removal and inspection of parts without taking the valve body out of the pipeline.Cavitrol III one-stage trim is interchangeable with standard trims.
