The level controller type NR 50 / 70 / 85 - TMA for tank installationis a non-contact magnetic switch used for monitoring and controlling liquid levels and temperatures.The switching tube contains bistable inert gas contacts ascontact cartridges, optionally fixed or adjustable on a perforated strip.The contact cartridges can be subsequently adjusted in heightin 10 mm increments.For fixed contacts, the contact spacing and their function must be specified. Contact cartridges can be subsequently adjusted in height. The function (normally open or normally closed) can be changed by rotating the cartridge 180°. The permanent magnet built into the float switches the contacts when the level changes. The switching differential (hysteresis) is 4 mm.In the TMA version, the temperature-dependent signal emitted by a Pt100 sensor mounted in the switching tube is converted into a 4-20 mA signal by the integrated transmitter.The level controller is maintenance-free when used with non-depositing media.For inductive loads, a protective circuit (freewheeling diode/RC circuit) must be provided.The device may only be installed by qualified personnel.
