This unit actually contains two separate single-turn type sensors which are described above:VRE1 and VRE2, connected to each other to the "n to n-1" gear ratio. Through the whole range up to n-th turn, there is only one point where the two sensors can be coincident. With this, the difference of degrees between VRE1 and VRE2 will indicate the number of rotations the unit has actually turned, providing an all-range absolute position detection.
