This load cell has been developed for use in high capacity container and silo weighing systems. But it can also be used in static force measurement applications. The model F1270 series are available for nominal loads between 7.5 t and 300 t. The design as rocker pin with the spherical load input areas on both sides is the special feature of this load cell.

Application

This load cell in rocker pin design is used in numerous application with the need for high accuracy and a robust design. It has been developed to be utilized container and silo weighing systems. It is also possible to use the model F1270 series to measure compression forces in harsh industrial applications as well as in plant construction and manufacturing and testing benches. The rocker pin design with spherical load input areas on both sides allows a self centering force application.

As being completely made of stainless steel, in combination with a high protection class and a glass leadthrough for the cable connection, it is possible to use the load cell in harsh environments. The special calibration technique (mV/V/Ohm) allows to pass on corner balancing when using several load cells.

For the model F1270 there is a full range of installation kits available for example weighing modules with lift-off protection,  thrust pieces and mounting fixtures.
