The magnetostrictive linear transducers in the version on aluminum profile are divided into the following series: LMP-46, LP46 and LMP30 series, available with magnet guided or completely separate from the profile. Analogue interfaces with voltage or current output or digital interfaces such as SSI, Profibus, CANopen, Device-net and on Ethernet base such as Profinet, Ethernet IP, EtherCAT®, Powerlink and SERCOS III are available. Now also available with IO-Link. For applications up to 20 meters, the LMC55 series is very interesting as it is a modular transducer. In fact, it is composed of a 2-meter base to which it is possible to connect a series of intermediate modules, with a stroke from 250 mm up to 2 meters, until the desired useful stroke is obtained.
It is available with Profibus, CANopen and EtherCAT® interface and up to 30 magnets can be used simultaneously.
