Standard filter housings are manufactured of a durable Polypropylene or clear FDA-compliant Styrene-Acrylonitrile (SAN). The reinforced polypropylene cap and offers an optional pressure-relief button on the inlet side to relieve pressure inside the housing when changing filter cartridges.
