The cow milking process isn’t as simple as it seems. There are tools and smaller devices used to reduce the time and costs. Kendrion was approached to improve the overall efficiency of a milking pulsator used in dairy production. The solenoid is used in a larger valve assembly, has two encapsulated coils, and works with a pressure of 15 psi. Kendrion integrated a weather resistant three-pin sealed connector in the design and was able to reduce the overall part count 80%. This led to quick changeovers to reduce the downtime in-between milking cows. It’s made a vast difference of improvement for our customer.
