This is one of the solenoids used in beverage dispensers. The Rectified Electromagnetic Valve is a 2-way valve and had one clear goal - eliminate the buzzing sound. Example: when filling up a soda at a beverage dispenser, we’ve all had the common experience of the loud buzzing noise that comes from the machine as the refill is occurring. What Kendrion did was stop the noise. The integrated circuit board converts the AC signal to a DC signal and therefore eliminating the buzzing sound. In addition a stepped pole face was integrated to the design to increase force while maintaining the same size which made the design more efficient. A cycle life of 1.25 million cycles with a low power consumption of only 16.8 Watts make this solenoid the perfect choice for any beverage dispenser.
