Magnetostrictive systems are particularly suitable for applications characterized by continuous movements, such as in presses and in plastic injection systems.The absence of mechanical contact between the fixed part and the moving part therefore guarantees the advantage of having a system that is not subject to wear.
It is possible to have a maximum of 16 magnets on a single transducer and magnets guided or separated from the profile or rod. The transducers can guarantee a measurement accuracy of up to 0.005 mm and a hysteresis of up to 0.02 mm.
Measurement lengths vary from 50 to 4,000 mm. Now available the new version LMRI46 and LMPI46 series. The new models are based on the LA46 and LP46 series, to which improvements have been made, especially with regard to measuring lengths of up to 1 meter, measurement accuracy, repeatability and hysteresis. Available with analog, SSI and fieldbus output.
