There’s a lot of moving parts in the oil exploration business. Rigs are built all over the world in search of a precious commodity needed by major industrial powers. Kendrion has played a key part in this process. We created a Dual Wind Sensor Coil with PPS plastic, tin-plated copper terminals and stainless steel pins. In the part, a tube went up and down inducing a current so it can sense at what depth the oil is below the surface. This reduces time spent on exploration and creates a more efficient system to find oil.
